Christmas Eve, a day spent relaxing - 24th December 2016 :)

Today will make for quite a boring blog as I will be mainly reading and relaxing in and around the lovely pool!  Lee is about to go 'man shopping' with his brother Jamie whilst I stay here & catch a few rays :)

I'm nearing the end of my book now, Feet of Clay: an Autobiography by Ffyona Campbell, a woman who at 21, walked from Sydney to Perth following pretty much exactly the same route we took from Melbourne to here. From Sydney to Melbourne we went the coastal route & she took the quicker Highway.

I'm not comparing our driving to her walking by any means, but I did have the same feeling of sadness when we left the isolation of the desert & entered back into civilisation. It's been really nice reading about places across Australia that are familiar to me now as it really brings the book to life :)

Bee Happy!

One of two little bees that I rescued from the pool today. They spent 10 mins or so cleaning themselves and then flew away :)

Like I said, today's blog is not very interesting but we had a really chilled day so I make no excuses! We even had a swing in a double hammock for the first time without  falling out of it!

Until tomorrow, nite xx
